Duties and Responsibilities: The Georgia Department of Driver Services, Regulatory Compliance Division, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Operations Analyst within the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) Unit. Under limited supervision, the Operations Analyst has responsibility for limited projects and well-defined assignments regarding the ADAP program. The Ops Analyst gathers, compiles and analyzes data and prepares comprehensive reports. Maintains current data and statistics for grant reporting and benchmarking. Participates in the assessment of program operations and prepares statistical reports. Monitors and ensures program compliance. Seeks creative solutions for system automations and continuous process improvements. Provides technical assistance to external and internal customers. Provides computer support and/or manages an automated information system to tract ADAP expenditures, instructions, shipments, etc. Maintains working relationships with State Department of Educations, County Boards of Educations, school personnel, and ADAP manual vendor. Plans, develops and delivers training presentations.
The incumbent will be responsible for responding to management and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner, in accordance with the core values of the Department of Drier Services. The incumbent will be expected to maintain a positive attitude and be receptive to change in a fast-paced environment. The Ops Analyst will be responsible for being responsive and escalating customer complaints to management. The incumbent will be expected to develop and maintain strong partnerships between the Division and its internal and external business partners.
