Summary: Functions as first level of support and maintenance of all operational aspects needed within Parkview Health's Datacenter to provide reliable service delivery to the organization. Assumes responsibility and accountability for monitoring operations, maintaining operational procedures and analyzing issues for efficient resolutions. Operations encompasses monitoring of server, network, interface and application services.
Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable knowledge and skills obtained through work experience. Experience with monitoring applications and troubleshooting skills in OS and networking environments. Knowledge and familiarity with Windows, Unix, Mainframe and Nonstop operating systems. Knowledge and familiarity with networking and TCP/IP protocols. General hands-on experience with server hardware platforms and networking platforms. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates skill and/or experience in following: root-case analysis and problem solving. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
