The OA&R Engineer will be part of the Risk & Integrity Management department. The role of the OA&R Engineer will be to provide the interface between the design team and the operations team, and ensure operability aspects are duly considered during the design of (offshore) facilities, and follow on phases.
Key activities include:
-Participation in design reviews
-Facilitation or support of operability workshops and maintainability workshops
-Development of sparing strategies and plans (including preservation)
-Development of maintenance strategies and plans, including equipment isolation strategies and plans
-Operability Analysis studies for various startup conditions (in cooperation with flow assurance engineers)
-Mechanical handling studies
-Execution and/or support of Reliability studies (TRC, TRL, FMECA, RAM, RCM)
-BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
-10+ years of experience in the operation of oil and gas facilities, preferably offshore
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Profiency in Spanish would be an advantage but not required
