DESCRIPTION

The Operations Clerk will work as part of the Grants unit as part of the grants operations team.

DUTIES

The Operations Clerk will assist in all aspects of the grants pre-award process including: assist in the entering of data into InfoEd and other systems, assist in the financial conflict of interest (FCOI) reporting process to ensure complete collection of required forms, tracking of FCOI submissions and to verify FCOI submissions and training have been completed, notification to investigators and Division Administrators of dates of pending reports due to sponsors. The Operations Clerk will assist the Operations manager by maintaining a list of pending proposals, updating the list with changes in funding status, assist in the collection of JIT materials and other documents required for sponsored project submissions. The operations clerk will maintain the grants files, filing system and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree

Proficient in Excel

Special requirements: Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work appropriately in an extremely busy office environment. Organization, attention to detail and analytical skills essential.
