CENTRAL OPERATIONS CLERK

Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank. Contribute to the bank’s growth by the effective sale of bank services to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE

This position reports to the Central Operations Manager and the Exec.Vice President of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Maintain a productive work flow and work as a member of a professional team.

Cross train in all areas of the department and rotate duties periodically with the majority of daily duties focusing on account maintenance and call center customer service.

Scanning and verifying documents in Director

Maintenance/Change of Address

ATM Balancing

ATM/Debit Cards

Compromised Cards

ACHs

NSFs

Chargebacks and Returns

Stop Payments

Holds

Rejects

Exceptions

Large Items

Notices

Interest Checks

Rebates and Disputes

Check in new accounts/documentation

Wires

QANs

Research and Subpoenas

Adjustments

Levies and Garnishments

Account Verifications

Mail

Returned Mail

Internet Banking/Paperless Statements

Promotions

Reconciliations

Fed Returns

Cash Letter

Required Government and Regulatory Reports

Assist customers with general banking questions/requests

Train on new tasks as they are assigned to the department.

Troubleshoot and provide assistance to employees/customers on any inquiries, customer service issues, disputes, etc.

Assist in writing and updating procedures.

Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.

Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function.

Comply with all applicable BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures associated with the performance of your job function, including participation in required training and identifications of suspicious activity.

Responsible for making suggestions to improve branch/departmental operations and overall bank.

Perform other duties and assignments within the bank at Management’s request; accept periodic cross-training.
