Physical oil products operations and trader support. Co-ordinates all aspects of the post-deal trading activity to ensure contract execution runs smoothly. Provide commercial/market information to the trader as necessary.
As a member of the Oil Liquids Operations Department, the Operations Scheduler will handle all Scheduling and Logistics duties for Crude Oil from USGC North to Cushing this will include; Pipeline, rail, truck, vessel and barge deliveries. The position will support the Commercial team and other Operations duties as assigned.
Daily coordination, scheduling and logistics of USGC Crude Oil
Review and comment on contracts.
Reviews data for the trader, monitoring profitability and exposure to price movements against contracts entered into and regularly informs Trader with same.
Establish and/or maintains good working relationships with Contractual Operations/Scheduling Counterparts and with third party service Companies on a regular basis regarding post deal activities
Liaises/Coordinates with Finance/Treasury, providing them with accurate and timely data needed for raising of L/C’s and obtaining P/Us.
Ensure invoicing of and payment of cargoes/movements are completed
Ensure all secondary costs are approved and processed promptly
Maximises recoveries and ensure that all claims to third parties are correctly documented and presented. Secure payment of third party claims.
Issuance of documentary Instructions to Contract Supplier.
Maintain good Contract and movement files.
Maintain good working practise with other Trade support departments
Maintain updated weekly activity reports
Ensure that Amphora is the primary tool for information and is updated regularly and at all times reflects the latest information available.
Accountable for gathering data for regulatory and compliance reporting and requirements
Monitors and advises middle office on all costs related with each transaction .(P+L awareness)
Monitor and resolve loss/gain differences for every operation
Monitor rigorously physical oil stocks, report loss/gains promptly, inform trader daily of current and planned stock levels
Responsible for all aspects of customs exportation/importation.
Ensure revenues maximised; claims documented; payments secured.
Optimize operations costs whenever possible and minimize any operations risk
Minimise Demurrrage exposure, without compromising the overall commerciality of the deal
Follow strictly internal procedures and company's policies. Adhere to Noble’s Code of Conduct
Undergraduate degree preferred
Highly motivated self starter with strong attention to detail and ability to operate independently

Candidate must demonstrate skills in problem identification, analysis, corrective action and closure

Adept at learning new customized software packages for trade entry/railcar billing and tracing/contracts and invoicing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate complex subject matter in a simple, clear concise manner with internal and external clients
