RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Retail Operations Managers are professionals within the Bob’s Discount Furniture organization and play a vital role by insuring that the stores perform beyond expectations and in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s core values and vision. Retail Operations Managers promote company policy and procedures by leading by example and exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
The primary function of a Retail Operations Manager is to oversee Office, Warehouse and if applicable, Clearance Center Operations and to directly manage and motivate a team, to plan, direct and coordinate all back and front end operations to meet or exceed operational goals in accordance with established Company guidelines. The Retail Operations Manager works as a liaison for store operations and regularly communicates with various corporate departments.
Among other duties the Retail Operations Manager will respond to customer issues timely and effectively promote world class customer service, recruit, hire and develop staff certifying that the store has a first class team focused on customer service and is adequately staffed at all times to meet business needs and objectives. The Retail Operations Manager also conducts regular department meetings to review progress and keep associates abreast of Company initiatives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze reports to maximize Office, Clearance Center Sales and Warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Manage all Office, Clearance Center and Warehouse personnel.
- Responsible for inventory cycle counts, insures that they are executed in a timely and accurate manor throughout the year
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven successful back and front end management experience
- 2-5 years Managerial experience preferable in a retail and/or warehouse environment
