Responsible for the management of all mortgage processing activities in multiple locations. Provide guidance, training, and assistance to personnel. Oversee daily operations and administrative activities. Ensure compliance with agency and company guidelines and that good business practices are promoted in a courteous, effective, and timely manner.
We will consider candidates with no/little mortgage experience but with a strong manufacturing background.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily processing pipeline of the Mortgage Operations function.
Provide guidance, training, and assistance to processing staff as needed
Engage in strategic initiatives to grow the business and streamline processing to optimize efficiencies
Monitor/measure workload, quality of output, and overall performance of loan processing staff and make recommendations as required
Perform the work of a processing position to ensure effective and timely production of loans
Assist/train all staff and troubleshoot with guidance on how to handle situations
Obtain a strong working knowledge of all products and implement procedures as needed
Ensure that all forms and reports are accurate and complete
Hold weekly pipeline meetings to include training and teamwork concept.
Keep current all policy and procedures manuals from both internal and external sources
Requirements and Skills:
BS Degree
At least 7-10 years residential mortgage loan operations/processing/management experience with emphasis on back-office processing (recording, lien release, post closing).
Will consider candidates with strong Manufacturing Operations experience (quality,cost,leadership, training) with no mortgage experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level
Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter
Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Customer-centric attitude
Compensation: $55-$60k Annually
