The Operations Manager manages all aspects of the distribution center including facilities, employee staffing, employee reviews; financial information including weekly flash reports, budgeting and profit/loss statements. The Operations Manager I ensures accounts receive full, requested productivity and quality levels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing facility to ensure all parts and supplies are delivered on time
Ensure all system tracking and data entry are timely and accurate to maintain accurate MRP runs
Meet all manufacturing schedules, support all factory technology, and ensure processes are lean and efficient
Develop and review business and site KPIs and metrics and takes adequate action to ensure any necessary recovery
Conducts analysis of manufacturing schedule to ensure there is adequate manpower and equipment coverage
Reports and accounts for department productivity and profitability
Maintains a good working relationship with production line and mechanics, has good working knowledge of manufacturing schedule and production process
Ensures work schedules are in place to promote efficiency
Reviews all equipment preventative maintenance schedules and work orders
Develops daily productivity tracking by employee and charts monthly progress
Allocate proper labor charges to respective departments; ensures proper factoring is achieved to identify accurate productivity
Ensures all aerospace handling requirements are met as stated in QMS, FAA, customer standards and industry standards
Ensures meetings are held reviewing warehouse issues
Conduct employee reviews, hiring and terminations
Ensures the daily pre-shift meetings cover previous productivity, operational problems, forecasting workload and any other pertinent company information
Reviews and coordinates all shift paperwork in a timely manner
Audits all billing activity for accuracy. Properly signs and authorizes all purchase order requisitions, vouchers and customer billing.
Coordinates all alarm-monitoring systems and reviews sprinkler system testing
Acts as the coordinator for all physical inventories
Acts as stock controller and communicates any discrepancies
Participates in department or company meetings
Assumes responsibilities of Operational Supervisors are on vacation
Visits other warehouses and attends affiliated meetings if necessary

Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years previous managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience managing a Quality Management System and all processes and procedures associated with that system
Experience with SAP Inventory Management (IM -WM) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Strong computer skills using Gmail applications, Microsoft products, and Crystal reports
Working knowledge of warehouse / mechanical equipment
Working knowledge of OSHA, HAZMAT regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas as necessary
Excellent supervisory skills, including good leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Experience in a fast paced warehousing environment a plus

Other:
Must be able to work in varying facility conditions
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Must be on-call for alarm system or problems during off work hours
