Demonstrates a basic understanding of established policies and procedures of the Department of Health, JCAHO, IAHCSMM, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards as related to sterilization, patient safety and the clinical environment.
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of proper handling and general purposes of surgical instrumentation and related devices.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of best practices in customer service
to meet or exceed the goals and objectives of client(s) expectations.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the IMS concepts of “Instrument Ready” and “Technical Excellence”.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the basic business principles associated with the sales and operations of the S3 Division.
