The Operations Services Representative is responsible for analyzing, interpreting and processing retirement plans participant level transactions, using a computer-based workstation to ensure that all incoming request from clients are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Reviews participant transaction requests for proper documentation and authorization. Processes basic retirement plan transactions including but not limited to loans, withdrawals, contributions, enrollments, and exchanges. Uses a window based computer system to process transaction requests deemed to be in good order, including but not limited to AWD, CAIS, Omni Plus and PSC. Responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of transactions. Maintains department processing standards in productivity and quality. Performs quality checking of processed transaction and correspondence.
Makes updates to the Plan Rules Database for processing procedure changes or new plan information. Calls participant to clarify instructions or obtain additional processing information. Responsible for researching and responding to email requests and inquiries received via the Centralized Processing email group.
Prepares adjustments as instructed by the Operations Services Rep II, Specialist, and/or Client Operations Manager.
