The Operations Specialist, Duals Eligible Program will assist in the management and coordination of all Duals Eligible Program implementation and operations activities. The position requires quick acquisition of a basic knowledge of present contracts and future capability of the company. Beacon is contracted with multiple health plans in numerous states to provide behavioral health support to dually eligible Medicaid and Medicare enrollees. This position is pivotal in assisting in the program development, implementation and operations of an innovative person-centered approach to meeting the complex functional and health care needs of adults with disabilities. Occassional travel required.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Duals Development Team to manage and coordinate all program architecture and operations activities

2. Assist with the development and management of project work plans

3. Organize daily activities for multiple work plans and contracts keeping projects on time and meeting stated deadlines

4. Coordinate the delivery of work product from internal department leads to client through the implementation lead

5. Act as liaison between the program design team and implementation team regarding implementation activities

6. Under the direction of his/her supervisor, draft operational workflow documents for use by BEACON and with external clients

7. Assist with the development of meeting agendas and minute taking

8. Participate actively in internal and external meetings

9. Actively manage select implementation sub-projects

10. Participate in program development meetings with program design team

11. Research various policies, procedures and/or protocols relating to new Duals’ business implementations

12. Research and assist to define State regulatory requirements

Bachelor's Degree
