Cards (Credit & Debit) Ops Specialist I
Responsibilities relate to performance of a wide range of operational servicing functions involved in the support of Credit and Debit Cards, including card ordering, card maintenance, transaction dispute claims research and processing, payment processing, network settlement, transaction research and customer support (i.e. communicating with external and internal customers and third party service providers.) Previous experience in operations area supporting credit and/or debit card portfolios is strongly preferred
Process daily work; maintain compliance with rules and regulations, with attention to bank policy, procedures and regulatory deadlines.
Ensure that assigned workload is completed within all deadlines and SLAs.
May help to ensure department procedures are written, available, and current.
Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere.
Resolve problems with the assistance and support of other team members and/or supervisors.
Escalate any concerns to supervisors.
Recommend changes or alternate ways in processing methods to allow improved operating efficiency and service levels.
Work collaboratively with other areas of the bank.
Maintain integrity of reporting and documents within specific group.
Assist on special projects
Involved in acquisitions and divestitures (i.e. due diligence, data mapping, mock conversions) as needed.
