GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor is a non-exempt position and responsible for assisting location management in the following areas, based on assignment: Customer Service, Operations, Human Resources, Fleet and Maintenance.
The Supervisor also serves as a liaison between the hourly staff within their assigned operational
function and the management staff within their respective location.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise employees of the entire location based on specific assignment within a designated operational function
Proactively seek process improvement to ensure high quality customer service
Resolve customer issues and disputes on a timely basis
Perform customer service duties on an as-needed basis; in the case of a difficult transaction, during busy periods, and/or for training purposes
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education-
High school diploma (or GED equivalent); college degree preferred
Experience-
Minimum 2 years car rental experience
Previous experience as a supervisor with a rental car company preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities-
Excellent managerial/supervisory skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to evaluate employee and customer needs
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to maintain confidential information and discretion

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USED:

Light to moderate physical activity

Work schedule generally consist of 40 hours per week, varying in shift based on location staffing needs and various other factors

Work is performed in a typical office environment as well as outside in all types of weather and temperatures

Limited to moderate exposure to unusual elements such as temperature, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises, which may vary based on location

Equipment used- a large variety of vehicles (may include 15-passenger vans and airport buses, based on location), safety belts, 2-way radio or cellular phone, phone system, computer equipment, printer, fax, safe
