The individual chosen to be our Operations Support Manager w ill be our operations expert! Our new Operations Support Manager will be responsible for the development of the Operations Support Business Unit to achieve effective support operations of all branch locations, organizational imaging, check management, debit card, ATM operations and Remote Delivery. This Operational All-Star will also directly supervise the Branch Operations Team.
If you’re chosen to be our new Operations Support Manager you will....
Provide regular effective training, coaching, and mentoring to team members regarding all aspect of operations support to ensure individual goals, departmental goals, and strategic initiatives are met.
Manage and control all operational functions of the organization’s ATM and PTM machine fleets to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service is delivered to the membership.
Manage the ATM network/fleet vendor relationships, including servicing, maintenance, and hardware/software compliance to meet the organizational delivery systems strategy and image standards.
Responsible for debit card operations including the management of the active and inactive card portfolios in order to develop processes and improvements related to financial goals and budgetary restraints.
Establish and maintain consistent operations of cash and deposit procedures including cash and vault manuals, balancing guidelines and core system procedures to ensure proper protocols are followed while meeting regulatory requirements.
Oversee and manage the imaging platform which includes scanning, indexing, image retrieval, and record retention, while initiating process improvement in order to build efficient operations and meet organizational, legal and regulatory needs
Manage the organization’s check management house including remote delivery systems checks to ensure timely processing and the collection of funds in order to reduce financial and operational risk.
Oversee the organization’s mail processing and courier program in order to ensure timely and secure delivery of member and team member mail, while initiating process improvement in order to build efficient operations and meet organizational, legal and regulatory needs.
Complete the organizational processes of Escheats and IRS tax reporting, while ensuring minimal errors in processing and effective results are produced which meet regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and manage the current and potential use of the core system and insure full utilization while implementing enhancements and system efficiencies.
Oversee and manage the IRA program relevant to branch operations to ensure accuracy and IRA processing meets regulatory requirements.
Manage the account opening process and the synergies between online versus branch account opening in order to minimize error and meet regulatory requirements while developing system efficiencies and ensuring quality control is completed and errors reported accordingly.
Manage Inventory Manager Controls and operational general ledgers to ensure accurate records and balancing is performed in order to mitigate risk while reporting any variances that are a risk.
Manage the departmental audit program (s) for the organization to ensure to completion and accuracy of records. Includes but are not limited to; negotiable instruments, cash drawers, vaults, coin machines, and ATM machines.
Evaluate and manage departmental income and expenses in order to offer recommendations in expense reduction and/or earnings to ensure budgetary goals are met.
Manage the remote delivery services; Telebanking, e-alerts, and e-notices to ensure they remain relevant and up to date in order to meet the organization’s delivery system strategy.

Meets budgetary, regulatory and business needs while efficiently and cost effectively running branch and organizational operations.
Considering this position? Be sure the following requirements are met…
Education & Experience
Equivalent to a college degree
Three plus years of similar or related experience in a management capacity
Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Understanding of ATM/PTM operating systems
Familiarity with financial industry and financial regulatory requirements
Excellent verbal, written and phone skills
Multi-task orientated and demonstrated high level of flexibility
Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
Ability to coach others and provide feedback to improve performance
