9 Month Contract
Receives/sorts and distributes incoming and at time outgoing, mail and faxes. Maintain inventory counts. Responsible for case assignment tracking and image prepping. Performs filing and file maintenance. May research missing information. Follow established procedures. May prepare, complete, print and/or mail system generated documents. Retrieves and sends faxes and copies. Performs data entry. Performs basic transactional processing functions. May perform basic research to obtain information from system. Reviews processed documents/ files for accuracy and completeness. May make routine amendments to processed documents/files based on research and/or established guidelines.
Essential job functions:
Must positively interact with all customers/clients both on the phone and in person, to satisfy their needs.
Maintains a sense of urgency.
Fulfill daily client service requests accurately within a specified time.
Full knowledge in performing searches for policy information across multiple platforms primarily using but not limited to, Polaris client search.
Full working knowledge of CATS tracking system.
Route all incoming service requests to the proper functional areas and within SLA guidelines.
Track and possibly prepare for imaging, all service requests in support of our business partners.
Properly forward all services requests received in error.
Perform rush requests that may need special handling, i.e., special requests, marked high priority items.
Properly complete any transactional processing items needed.
Contribute and promote teamwork by working on cross-departmental work assignments and projects as needed.
Recommend new workflows procedures, system enhancements, ideas or ways to increase departmental productivity and or efficiency.
Grammar – reading and writing, skills.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong data entry skills.
Excellent telephone presence.
Strong organizational/time management.
Analytical and limited Decision making skills.
Ability to understand and use sources of information, i.e. reports, procedural documentation, and reference material.
High School or equivalent education required.
College experience preferred
Job may require; standing, sitting, reaching, grasping, lifting, carrying, walking, climbing kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to lift and move boxes in excess of 30 lbs.
Digital dexterity using PC keyboard.
Perform detail work requiring visual accuracy
