We are currently seeking an Operations and Trade Support position for a top New York City investment bank to assist with Exchange listed products. This is an entry level finance position that is located in Purchase, NY and a great opportunity for a candidate who is excited about starting a career in banking.
Operations and Trade Support Responsibilities:
Analyze reference data sources and review exception reports
Aid in position and price break reconciliation between internal and exchange accounts
Prepare new products to be traded on the Exchange
Oversee the daily completion of position reports for the desk
Liaise with the business unit, Operations, and Controllers to assist with any projects as needed
Operations and Trade Support Requirements:
Previous work experience or internship in Financial Services
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field
Highly advanced communication skills (both written and oral) for frequent interactions with other organizational areas
Excellent ability to prioritize and multi-task and a strong attention to detail
Highly skilled team player
Expert-knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Access)
This Operations and Trade Support role is a consulting position that is expected to last at least five (5) months with a possibility of direct hire and pays an annualized salary of $45,750 ($22.00/hour).
