This is a professional position responsible to provide project management leadership to Operation functional teams. This position shall act as a single contact for engineering team during the early phase of product initiation and also be responsible for driving towards organization goals in delivering quality product to the customers timely. Functions include assuring all aspects of Operation execution; monitoring and managing risks in order to mitigate any impact to schedule, quality and margin.

Responsibilities:
Manages operation activities, schedules and deliverables.
Provides stable BOM, test solution and manufacturing process prior to hand-off
Provides risk assessment based on project status.
Works with operation team to prioritize activities if there is any resource constraint.
Supports NPI Costing Manger in NPI product and MVA cost related activities
Responsible for NPI cost – CONP/COQ.
Drives Process, system and deliverables implementation, as well as, the associate improvements.
Identifies, develops and manages tools and system platform for Operation project management

Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must have experience in project management and planning, risk assessment, and risk management
Knowledge of Microsoft office and project planner is required
Must be time, quality, and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be results driven and be a team player. Analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
Additional spoken and written language that is essential: Spanish and/or Portuguese.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical or business engineering is required.
At least 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or project management.
Must be computer literate in such as Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate, or preferably advance knowledge in Excel, Word and Microsoft Project. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
He or She must have the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external parties.
Set top box experience is a major plus.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL/VISUAL/HEARING ABILITIES
Has the ability to perform light lifting in the handling of work materials and equipment.
The role requires visual skills necessary for reviewing a considerable amount of written materials for the accurate maintenance of information and records.
The job requires the ability to travel locally or internationally, for either supplier or customer visit. Must be flexible in working hours to cover different time zones.
