This position is located in Alachua, Florida. Not on the UF campus.

Perform a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the Associate Director of the Center of Excellence of Regenerative Health Biotechnology and Associate Director’s direct reports.
Prepare and/or revise a variety of correspondence, reports, and other documents required by unit.
Handle confidential information, mail, email, RFPs, and proposals for Associate Director. Organize and provide appropriate information for review. Draft some responses or revise reviewed documents. Organize and file mail and paper and electronic documents. Maintain Associate director’s calendar.
Independently prepare agendas, meeting invitations, food and beverage requirements for prospective and current client site visits and inspections. Assist with receptionist duties when needed.
Prepares travel plans for all assigned personnel.
Assists in maintaining job descriptions, performance appraisals, organization charts, staff salaries and hiring documentation. Screen and order candidate applications according to minimum job requirements. After selection, obtain necessary permissions and prepare interview schedules or arrange phone interview times. Coordinate responses from interviewers. Assist in and schedule new employee orientation and training by scheduling with appropriate personnel.
Assist in developing and monitoring annual operating budget for Florida Biologix as directed by Associate Director. Maintain electronic requisition archive for some or all categories. Work in conjunction with all departments and CERHB fiscal personnel to obtain needed information.
Be skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Access software.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Attainment of a score of at least 35 cwpm on an approved typing test.

Health Assessment Required

Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
