The Optical Scanning Clerk is responsible for the accurate conversion of all appropriate documents from paper or microfiche to the Optical imaging system. The Optical Scanning Clerk will scan and index specific documents sent from Accounting (Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Call Reports and ATM Balancing Reports) in addition to the usual documents sent to Optical on a daily basis. This position will also serve as the primary back up to others within the department by providing research assistance when necessary.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Scan and index all appropriate credit union documents accurately and timely.
Scan and index specific documents sent from Accounting (Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Call Reports and ATM Balancing Reports).
Manually input new account information into Optical that was not included in weekly import from SmarTerm.
Notify supervisor immediately when equipment problems occur.
Assist with sorting documents from various FORUM CU departments for Optical scanning as needed.
Serve as primary back up to others within the department by providing research assistance when necessary.
Follow all guidelines and procedures as instructed.

High School Diploma or equivalent
