Job Objectives (Purpose of the Position):
The Optimization Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the online store A/B, MVT testing and dynamic targeting program.
The program manager will lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders and drive an open analytical culture to define testing plans and schedule to further enhance overall business objectives. Ultimately this person will foster an understating of testing and measuring concepts, familiarity with testing tools and program capabilities, and socialize key learnings to drive incremental dollars to the business.
Leading the quarterly optimization planning; understanding business objectives and providing business leads data-based guidance, this includes internal store analytic as well as qualitative research, industry trends, etc.
Partner with internal stakeholders as appropriate (business leads, design, operations, analytics and vendor) throughout planning and execution.
Maintain testing schedule and manage on-time and high quality execution against schedule, ensuring validity and reliability of test, proper back-end set-up and proper user experience.
Conduct in-depth analysis of test results; manage reporting processes and infrastructure
Facilitating the sharing and leverage of learnings across the organization
Manage execution against optimization wins
Manage program infrastructure ensuring open and timely communications, easy availability of former tests for better tests planning and broader leverage of key learnings.
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience leading a cross functional team through planning and execution processes
Expert knowledge of optimization capabilities, best practices and emerging trends
Comfort and understanding of optimization reporting and analytics
Ability draw defendable hypothesis and use data to validate and plan corresponding next steps
Experience with web analytics tools including Omniture and Google Analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skill with strong presentation and report writing skills
BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics or related field
