This position in Sunrun’s IT team will play a key role in operationally leading the technical delivery of support and enhancements to Sunrun’s enterprise applications footprint, particularly its Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environment. The successful candidate will have broad and deep hands-on knowledge of all technical aspects of an EBS installation including interfaces, customizations, extensions and reporting, and will have broad knowledge of the majority of the key EBS finance modules – GL, AR, AP, PO, FA, AGIS and experience with Subledger Accounting (SLA). The candidate must have a good functional understanding of most major business processes. Due to the start-up nature of Sunrun, the successful candidate will often be called upon to personally fix and address issues or bugs themselves, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to the technical team. It is expected that the mix of leading versus development will be somewhere on the order of 60%-70% lead to 40-30% development. As Sunrun continues to grow, the candidate will also be expected to play a key Technical Lead role in any new module implementations as well as an expected major overhaul of the R12 implementation, ensuring the timely delivery of all technical components.
A successful candidate should be able to work with functional business analysts and other technical team members to establish a solution and a detailed technical design for a given business requirement. Further, the candidate should be capable of executing the design specification and requirement into technical deliverables, and drive them to completion.
The candidate will also be responsible for architectural recommendations, technical design, development, unit and integration testing and participate in establishing repeatable/reusable IT frameworks. The candidate must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills overall as there will be a significant support component to the position.

Model, analyze and develop database structures which are non-intrusive to the base applications code and which effectively and efficiently implement business requirements.
Provide superior customer support and help continuously improve customer satisfaction ratings.
Manage and resolve services request for supported applications.
Reviews code, and ensures development adheres to development and QA standards.
Assists in the management of offshore resources, ensures they have the information they need to work on items assigned specifically to them, gets them past blockers.
Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing and deployment. Participate in peer design and code reviews.
Self-starter, “can-do” attitude a must in a fast-moving “startup” environment.
Broad knowledge of core functional areas of the business and accompanying functional modules of Oracle R12 EBS. Broad functional knowledge of the Finance modules GL, AR, AP, PO, FA.
8+ years of technical expertise with Oracle Applications/EBS.
2+ years experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Manager.
Experience in at least 3 implementations of Oracle EBS, including at least two in R12.
Expert-level experience with database programming techniques and languages, especially Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Reports and database object modeling.
Experience with Oracle Discoverer and SQL tuning
Expert experience in all facets of Software Development Life Cycle
BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience
