The individual will design and implement interactive reports and dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition both 10g and 11g. The individual will also use ETL tools and data warehouse concepts to transform data in Oracle 10g and 11g databases so that it is optimized for reporting in a data warehouse. The individual will work within a small consulting team and report to the Clarity Partners engagement manager or delegated project lead. The individual will communicate directly with end-client business and technical stakeholders to understand the information sought from reports and dashboards and the nature of the available data sources feeding the reports.
Position Requirements/Technical Skills:Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years experience building Oracle BI Publisher reports
2+ years experience using OBIEE to develop Interactive Dashboards including complex content such as pivot tables, charts, gauges, prompts, embedded content, navigation links, and Oracle BI Publisher reports.
2+ years experience designing, implementing, and using various Oracle database objects including Tables, Views, Materialized Views, Sequences, Indexes, and Stored Procedures.
2+ years experience designing and implementing Extract Transform and Load processes.
1+ year experience implementing ETLs with Oracle Warehouse Builder or comparable ETL tool.
Must understand the general terminology and concepts of data warehousing.
Must know SQL language and have 2+ years experience using SQL to access and transform data in an Oracle Database. PL/SQL experience preferred.
Must be able to comprehend and create entity relationship diagrams.
Must understand data warehouse modeling concepts including the ability to translate dimensional models into physical models such as Star, Snowflake, and/or Third Normal Form.
Must be onsite in Chicago (3510 S Michigan Ave) a minimum of 3 full business days every 2 months. Full-time onsite presence preferred. Travel expenses related to onsite work are not reimbursable.
Must pass a criminal background check and be fingerprinted for access to sensitive law enforcement data.
