Due to the continued success and strong growth of our business, Sartorius is offering two exciting and challenging opportunities as an Order Process Specialist (OPS) within our Bioprocess Division and our Lab Products & Services Division. The Order Process Specialist(s) will act as a key liaison between the customer, the sales force, and the internal organization (including Supply Chain Management, Product Management, Applications Support, etc.). The OPS will work closely with and support Sales to further develop business. The OPS will satisify these objectives through compliance with work processes, excellent product knowledge, competent understanding of a complex organizational structure, and attention to detail and communication.

What you can look forward to accomplishing -Satisfy all customer requests and support sales staff promptly and professionally via telephone, email, web, and fax.
-Process all customer orders accurately, review all details of order, and confirm pricing within 24 hours.
-Review product availability utilizing all available resources and global warehouses. Explore product alternatives if product is not available within requested timeline.
-Ongoing monitoring of open orders until order is fulfilled; Send written order confirmation to customer including expected date of delivery. Expedite orders when appropriate, reconfirm delivery if "promise date" changes.
-Process Quality Notifications, Returns, Credits, Debits & Samples. Create down payment documents and/or billings as needed. Manage special requests often required by "Key Accounts"; Set up new customers in SAP
-Follow KPI Guidelines
-Process spare part quotations as needed. Enter customer-specifice pricing in customer account. Communicate sales & customer and order information to Sales Representative. Assist Sales in achieving sales target through various tasks as needed.
-Develop and reach a level of knowledge of product lines to actively assist customer in basic technical support and be able to offer substitutions. Attend periodic training sessions. Coordinate with technical staff to ensure accuracy of information being provided.
-Participate in special projects as required by Order Process Management, Sales, Marketing and Material Planning.
-Assist Order Processing Management in pursuit of company goals. Provide back-up coverage to teammates when needed.
Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company -Minimum 2 year college degree and/or minimum 3 years experience with customer service.
-Exceptional professional communication skills, both orally and written.
-Ability to function in a multi-tasking environment.
-Aptitude to learn technical product knowledge of a wide and scientific product portfolio.
-Exceptional commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Attention to detail and follow-through.
-PC literacy, including, at minimum, Microsoft Office.
-Proficiency using SAP, a plus.
