Position Description

Responsible for international outbound shipments.

Position Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs all system transactions required for outbound shipments.

Performs pack/ship functions.

Consolidates transfer orders from drop off locations.

Processes necessary documentation needed for shipment and adheres to customs requirements.

Interacts with International Customer Service / Planning via email or verbally to insure all orders are processed correctly and shipped on requested day.

Required to respond to large volumes of emails in a timely manner.

Verifies and confirms the accuracy of each International order.

May train others on new procedures or train new hires.

Complies with all consolidation ship dates to ensure on time shipments.

Assist in developing new methods and training procedures.

Able to process orders to all countries accurately based on specific country / customs requirements.

Basic Qualifications


H.S. diploma and two years of experience in processing orders in a distribution/manufacturing environment. Must be skilled in SAP including packing, shipping, troubleshooting orders and research.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Prior International customs documentation experience is preferred

Must be able to work without constant supervision

Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be able to multi-task and respond to a large volume of emails

Must be a team player; self-motivated
