The Organizational Improvement Manager is responsible for companywide talent management programs which include acquiring, developing, aligning and assessing the organizations talent. This position is also involved in change management, continuous improvement efforts, individual employee development plans and succession planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for creation and implementation of metrics for workforce analysis in order to monitor development.
Responsible for a management and professional assessment program with the goal being to facilitate career development programs which will strengthen corporate leadership and establish a ready pool of talented candidates.
Responsible for the talent management efforts of the company along with developing and enhancing programs in acquiring, developing and aligning talent within the company.
Evaluate training and development programs to ensure expectations and standards are met.
Continually evaluate internal personnel to assure the right personnel are in the right roles within the organization.
Implementing Human Resource planning systems including: career development plans, succession planning tools and coaching.
Develop, recommend and implement a program to identify non-exempt employees with the potential to assume supervisory roles and develop and implement a learning experience and program to meet this need.
Build positive working relationships with a variety of management personnel.
Recommend creative solutions to continual improvement efforts.
Enhance supervisory and managerial skills and behavior in a dynamic environment.
Coordinates the delivery of programs on change management, stress management, team building, communication skills, and conflict resolution
Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about individuals through records, tests, interviews and professional sources, to appraise their interests, aptitudes, abilities, and personality characteristics, for career planning.
This position does have supervisory responsibilities of various levels on individuals. Responsible to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or five or more years of professional experience in building development programs related to talent management. Must possess excellent communication skills along with an aptitude in systems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
