Job Title: Organizational Maintenance Management System Data Analyst
Job Code: 1655527
Job Location: Portsmouth, Virginia
Imagine One is currently seeking a wide range of candidates for a "contingent" opening in support of a current contract to provide support to the United States Navy's PEO Aircraft Carriers. We are looking for an Organizational Maintenance Management System (OMMS) Data Analyst . Job duties include:
Develop nuclear Baseline Activity Work Package (BAWP) and the propulsion plant modernization package. Direct and train CPA personnel in development of the nuclear BAWP and the propulsion plant modernization package. Coordinate with PEO Carriers, NAVSEA (including Naval Nuclear Propulsion, SEA08), Type Commander, Naval Supervising Activities (NSA), RPPY, PPEA, Industrial Activities, and Ship's Force in the development of the nuclear BAWP and the propulsion plant modernization package.
Receive Current Ship's Maintenance Project (CSMP) data to support advance planning. Process and review Aircraft Carrier Propulsion- Organizational Maintenance Management System (P-OMMS) CSMP files to remove Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) so CSMP data can then be handled in maintenance data systems which are not accredited to handle NNPI. Identify NNPI using NAVSEAINST 5511.32C definitions and flow diagrams to determine what information needs to be removed from CSMP entries to "sanitize" work descriptions. Interface with Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. (BPMI) P-OMMS or subsequent representatives to ensure timely flow of CSMP data.
Coordinate with Nuclear Maintenance Planning Manager (MPM) and PMS312C11 Ship Life Cycle Managers (SCLMs) to develop and manage the propulsion plant portion of the BAWP and associated OPNAV 4790/2Ks and to establish advance planning milestones for nuclear aircraft carriers BAWPs. Assist SCLMs in developing validated, technically accurate propulsion plant BAWP. Review and validate BAWP to ensure all propulsion plant applicable requirements are identified in a timely manner to support the Life Cycle advance planning efforts, funding, and schedule development. Advise SLCMs concerning scheduled nuclear maintenance, inspections and certification from the Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) and Navy Modernization Program (NMP).
Maintain close working relationships with PEO Carriers, NAVSEA (including Naval Nuclear Propulsion, SEA08), Type Commander, NSA, RPPY, PPEA, Industrial Activities, and Ship's Force
Participate in conferences or discussions, including engineering problem solving conferences and discussions with engineers, engineering technicians, and production controllers, ship's officers and crew, and with representatives from FFC, PEO Carriers, Type Commanders, NAVSEA (including Naval Nuclear Propulsion, SEA08), IDEA, planning yards, private and public shipyards, RPPY, PPEA, ISEAs, other SUPSHIPs, RMCs, and other Navy field activities and contractors. Prepare written meeting summaries
Conduct analyses on historical maintenance data. Provide results in the form of point papers or graphics. Draft informal correspondence and point papers to communicate and to document nuclear-related aircraft carriers life-cycle management issues. Review technical reports and recommendations as for correctness and feasibility of accomplishment
Provide responses for various data calls including, but not limited to: FMBOD 9-step process, emergent data calls, BAWP Executive Summaries, and meeting action items
Other "unrelated" duties include, but are not limited to:
Review, analyze and recommend changes to program management processes and implement process improvements to enhance program management and configuration control
Attend PMS 312, Smart Carrier, PEO, Type Commander, shipyard, and other meetings as directed
Prepare periodic MOS Activity Logs for work performed
