Job Description

The Outbound Activation Representative is responsible for assisting the Starwood Vacation Ownership preview program guests in securing dates of travel. Associates are responsible to activate and submit reservations to achieve budgeted arrival goals as determined site by site.

  • Contact leads as assigned by management and activate leads to achieve maximum delivery of pipeline packages. Review all DOP’s, accommodations, and package details.
  • Identify sales-related guest issues and correct prior to completed reservation request. Utilize package expiration dates, experiential area information, and local activities to drive arrival into specific travel windows. Book arrival dates with approved arrival calendars.
  • Legible and accurate preparation of Arrival and Reschedule Requests paperwork. Adhere to all quoted package pricing and scheduling information provided by and approved by management.
  • Strong customer service provided at all times - high energy, positive attitude, and use of effective problem resolution skills.
  • Maintain performance within established departmental and individual performance goals.
Requirements

  • Previous Telemarketing and Customer Service experience strongly preferred.
  • Personable, with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve Guest issues.
