We are seeking outside insurance sales candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit motivated by the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, positive environment. Compensation is based on individual performance. Our sales team is comprised of people from all walks of life who share a common belief that anyone with a good sales strategy, who is willing to work hard, and maintain a positive mental attitude will be successful in their endeavor. We have the right sales strategy, and ask that our salespeople follow our 30-year proven sales system. All leads are provided at no cost to you. Because our sales people are like-minded, AMBA has a friendly, family atmosphere in which friendly competition is encouraged and rewarded on a local and national level.
OVERVIEW OF SALES POSITION:
Market exclusively endorsed benefits to members of statewide association
Make sales presentations that adequately explain all product information
Follow sales system to ensure complete and accurate product explanation and sales success
Conduct in-home presentations (and occasionally conduct presentations at prospect’s place of employment)
Cover territory by contacting and presenting to those in area; Overnight travel is rare (territories vary)
Performance based compensation plan that includes residual income/commissions/earnings, cash bonuses, weekend trips for two, and exclusive rewards for top performers

Extensive initial training with ongoing support
QUALIFICATIONS:
No insurance experience necessary!
College degree preferred but not required
College level education and/or two years combined outside sales experience
Professional image at all times, representing the company and our association clients to the highest degree; Integrity
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to persuade people to act now; Confidence to ask for the order
Ability to listen, identify and meet customers’ needs
Independent self-motivator, able to perform without direct supervision; Entrepreneurial spirit
Competitive, self-motivated, Independent person who enjoys being part of a winning team
People-oriented and a deep respect for others
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Variable: mostly in-home appointments (occasionally at the prospect’s place of employment)
Overnight travel is rare; travel may vary by location
