Job Description

The Owner Marketing Sales Associate is responsible for contacting assigned Owner Leads and converting those leads into vacation package sales in a high-energy, fast-paced call center environment. Position is responsible for developing relationships with owners that result in new leads generated as Owner Referrals.

MAJOR DUTIES:
  • Effectively manage company assigned leads and customer call backs.
  • Perform data entry functions to ensure that calls are properly documented and entered into company database systems.
  • Follow all preview package Details of Participation to ensure qualification of guests and to disclose all package details pertaining to location, accommodations and package inclusions.
  • Communicate customer concerns to appropriate manager or supervisor.
  • Represent all Starwood properties with knowledge and brand voice.
  • Establish rapport with Owners to encourage ongoing relationship and lead harvest opportunities.
  • Maintain performance within established departmental and individual service levels with high energy, positive attitude, and effective presentation and closing skills.
SCHEDULE:
This position operates Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year previous tele-sales experience.
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve Guest objections.
  • PC proficiency for application and resource use.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to maintain consistent visual use of computer programs and web-based tools.
  • Lead management and analysis of paperwork requires visual observation.
  • Verbal communication necessary for performance of essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift and carry small packages of up to 30 pounds.
