Under the supervision of the Pick/Pack Supervisor, the Packer handles the picking and packing of customer orders and internal move orders. Employee should have a proactive and positive attitude, with a focus on meeting production goals and efficiency standards while ensuring process accuracy. Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and 5S concepts is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
Pick product from assigned pick bins according to pick ticket instructions.
Pack and prepare orders according to internal and external customer’s requirements, verifying order accuracy.
Perform system pick confirmation, decrementing inventory and upgrading the order status to prepare for shipping.
Monitor station supplies daily, ensuring sufficient material is available to perform all relevant job functions.
Maintain station organization and cleanliness according to 5S practices.

3-4 years working a related distribution center position
Ability to read and interpret all related documents and reports.
Ability to communicate at all levels within the company as it relates to his/her area of responsibility.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to use good judgment.
Good organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail
Work Environment: Normal warehouse environment with limited heating and air conditioning. Some overtime may be required. Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted. Ability to be standing 80% of time. Adherence to Workplace Safety.
