Provides excellent customer service to each of the Dental Health Centers' primary customer groups--patients desiring dental services and dental residents.
The person in my role will be greeting customers, checking-inpatients, emergency intake and directing patient concerns to appropriate supervisor while maintaining courteous profession demeanor.
Support providers by preparing visit sheets and patient charts for each day, contacting patients to make appointments.
Maintain clinical schedule by imputing appointments, registering new patients, updating patient information and coordinating patient appointments with other appointments.
Work with insurance office to verify insurance information is correct; calculates patient co-payments based on insurance coverage; assists providers with treatment plan estimates.
Answers phones, greets visitors, and responds to routine verbal and e-mail inquiries. Refers visitors to appropriate contact.
May supervise training and orientation of front desk staff members
Must have a High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Vocational or Technical training are preferred.
