Job Purpose: To perform all patrol and police investigative procedures while enforcing Federal. State, and Local Laws as well as Methodist Health System policies and Procedures.
High school Diploma or Equivalent required
Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
TCLEOSE Required (Intermediate License preferred)
Related Work Experience and Other Skills
Ability to mediate tense situations
Essential verbal communication related to job skills
Excellent documentation and organizing skills
Must be TCLEOSE Certified at the time of employment
Enforces campus parking rules and procedures.
Enforces state and local laws
Gather, document, and properly store evidence in accordance state law and MHS policy.
Interacts with the patient representative on issues involving risk management.
Patrols campus and investigates criminal activity.
Performs arrest/transports in accordance with state law and MHS PD policy
Responds to heli-pad for fire safety and patient assistance.
Writes accurate and detailed reports over criminal and non-criminal occurrances in a prompt manner.
