Under the supervision of the Supervisor PC Technicians, this position supports integrated IT hardware and software systems, supports various desktop office suite products and provides configuration support for proprietary hospital applications within a large Integrated Health Care System, while providing excellent customer service. The incumbent: 1) Analyzes configuration and/or performance problems with desktop computer and printer hardware/software for conformity with clinical health system workflow processes; 2) Utilizes specialized, proprietary diagnostic tool sets to enable hardware and software functionality; 3) Tracks problems and user requests through an automated software system and appropriately assigns tickets to third level support as defined by the IT Service Delivery Model; and 4) Works collaboratively within the end user support team and other IT project teams to achieve team goals and outcomes.

Qualifications:
Requires a High School diploma (or equivalent). Associates Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Computer Information Systems, is preferred.

Requires one to two (1-2) years of experience with desktop and printer hardware and software support

Prefer experience working with HEAT (or similar) Help Desk Call Logging software and LANDESK (or similar) software.

Will need to attain and keep current Dell certification within 6 months of hire.

Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.

A+, Network+ certifications preferred.

Must have previous experience providing desktop and printer hardware support, including break/fix troubleshooting.

Must be able to d

emonstrate the ability to professionally handle multiple user requests with different priorities and deadlines.

Must be able to follow procedures for tracking, resolving and reporting problems through automated tracking system. Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing with user community, teammates and technical personnel.

Must be willing to participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation performing weekend and after-hours support.

Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
