Will require storing and staking, or palletizing of materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods. The ability to stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and climb under a vehicle is required (25%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (25%). The ability to push and pull, as well as lift and
carry up to 60 pounds is required (25%). There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of
work area walking moderate to long distances can sometimes be required.
Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a desk (90%). Requires sitting at a computer terminal for long periods of time (90%).
Work environment may be inside or outside depending on the task. The ability to work in outside field conditions that include hot and cold extreme temperatures and other outdoor climatic conditions is required (25%). Must be able to work in areas where only portable restroom facilities are available (1%). Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task. Position will require multiple task efforts. Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers and all levels of management (100%).
Equipment and Machines:
May operate hand or power trucks. Work may require being around moving machinery and equipment. May be required to drive auto equipment, forklifts, and other equipment. Requires ability to operate a personal computer, a telephone, copier, and other general office equipment (100%). Ability to conduct evaluation of third and fourth generation or current state of the art computer hardware and software and its ability to support specific requirements, interfacing with other equipment and systems.
Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours to maintain continuity of service. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice. Being prompt is important to provide continuous and on-going service to customers. Overtime is infrequent, but important when required (1%).
Other Essential Functions:
Must be able to obtain and retain a security clearance. Must possess a valid class A CDL. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain unescorted access to work areas. May be subject to other physicals or exams if required to wear a respirator or are designated by the COR to have other physicals due to the work area in which you are assigned. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
