Portland Community College is the largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with 90,000 students enrolled on multiple campuses in a five-county, 1,500-square-mile area in NW Oregon. The PCC Foundation is dedicated to increasing financial support for the college and our diverse student body. Our vision is that all students in our region have access to an excellent education at PCC and the support needed to succeed, regardless of their ability to pay.

The College and the PCC Foundation are seeking an Annual Fund Officer who is responsible for planning and implementing our Annual Fund Program to secure commitments for student scholarships, PCC programs, and priority fundraising initiatives. Candidates should have a passion for community colleges and the life-changing opportunities offered by PCC. This position works collaboratively with colleagues in both the Foundation and Advancement Department (which also includes College Communications and Government Relations). The Annual Fund Officer cultivates, stewards and solicits a broad number of constituents—alumni, faculty/staff/retirees, community friends—through targeted appeals and special campaigns, phonathons, individual face-to-face meetings, and electronic and written appeals. They work collaboratively with faculty/staff on department-related fundraising projects. They regularly track and analyze results from Annual Fund activities. In addition, the Annual Fund Officer coordinates assigned donor events; manages a portfolio of annual giving prospects, helps to qualify prospective major donors; and staffs an assigned Board volunteer committee.

PCC offers studies in nearly 60 career fields, plus university transfer programs and certificate programs to gain immediate employment skills. There are many opportunities for the Annual Fund Officer to promote the college and leverage the strength of our programs in cultivating philanthropic support that impact our students and region.
