Job Description

Working under the supervision of a Research Director, or Principal Investigator, provides management and assistance of clinical research studies. A Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating and planning ongoing activities which support various studies and projects.

Manage projects that are evolving and changing related to clinical trials that require significant independent judgment and exceptional attention to detail.

Provide support for the coordination of clinical research studies. Develops and maintains systems for efficient dissemination of materials and information related to clinical research studies in an organized and timely manner.

Manage, supervise and actively participate in recruitment, consent, conduct research related procedures and paperwork.

Manage triage line for recruitment for research study screenings and provide support for identifying in-house participants.

Update materials on internet/intranet sites.

Perform administrative and organizational functions in support of clinical studies and projects. Support reimbursement and payment tracking for grant related goods/services.

Interface with staff. Respond to requests for status, intake new or changed information and/or troubleshoot and problem-solve research-related issues. Serve as the initial contact for external contacts for grant related inquiries.

Participate in the planning and coordination of meetings and preparation of reports. Provide support for preparation of presentations/meeting materials. Coordinate committee/subcommittee status updates for Executive Committee meetings.

Perform all other duties as assigned.


Associate Degree preferred5-7 years of related experience in mental health research, preferably schizophrenia related work.

Conditions of Employment
