To inform new and established customers of the products and services of the bank and to process new accounts with the utmost accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a courteous and professional atmosphere.
  • Responsible for Safe Deposit Box area. This includes:
    • Opening / Closing safe deposit boxes
    • Monthly billing
    • Past Due billing
    • Scheduling boxes to be drilled
    • Daily balancing
  • Process Credit Verifications (bank wide)
  • Filing of various documentation
  • Scan all necessary new account documents into the Bank Manager system
    • Trust documentation
    • Death Certificates
    • Court Orders
    • Marriage Licenses
    • Supporting documentation for business accounts
  • Check New Account Reports daily and compare to Customer Information Program to identify possible exceptions
  • Check the obituary sections of the Edmond Sun and The Daily Oklahoman daily for deceased accountholders (backup for receptionist)
  • Responsible for sorting and delivering mail to Main Office personnel
  • Responsible for Deluxe Check orders, this includes:
    • Ordering
    • Filing
    • Reviewing weekly Deluxe invoices
    • Clearing out Deluxe folder at the end of each month
  • Backup the Personal Bankers at Main Bank. This includes opening and maintaining new accounts, such as:
    • Checking
    • Savings
    • Commercial Accounts
    • IRA’s/HSA’s
    • CD’s
    • Maintenance of accounts (address changes, account type changes, auto transfers, KBC Line transfer PINs)
    • Create new Savings Square accounts in BancPac from online application information received from bookkeeping
  • Cross-Sell other bank products and services
  • Backup Wire Transfer Clerk and other Bookkeeping positions when necessary
  • Backup Teller Line when necessary
  • Other duties which may be assigned within the Operations Department

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent education or experience

  • Keyboard skills
  • 10-Key Skills
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge helpful
  • Good interpersonal skills and Customer service skills a must
  • Previous banking experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS: Sitting or standing for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Lifting currency and coin. Professional office environment.
