This position serves as a trusted advisor for the Bank with the overall purpose of providing consistent and accurate banking transactions while educating customers about STAR’s sales and service delivery options. Effectively matches customer’s needs by referring and selling the appropriate products and services that will benefit the customer and enhance their banking relationship.
Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; minimum one year experience as a Teller and/or Personal Banker.
An Associates degree in a Business, Accounting, Finance or related field and more than one year experience as a Teller and/or Personal Banker is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with accuracy in processing; proven sales ability to identify and recommend varying solutions; demonstrated technical ability to perform required duties and the ability to keep current on new products and all services offered; proficiency in computer skills to include windows based systems.
