The PGS Indirect Sourcing Leader will be responsible for leading the overall effort for PGS sourcing to manage the cost and consumption of indirect material and services and to ensure the availability of these to support the needs of the business.
In addition, you will:
Communicate and drive the indirect sourcing process across PGS
Establish and manage the indirect material savings strategy for the PGS sourcing controllable buy; partner with the P&W Indirect Sourcing team to drive synergies and global supplier management
Work closely with PGS operations, repair shops and customer sites to promptly fulfill the needs for all indirect buys most economically and generate savings to achieve operating plans
Develop a strategy for migrating spend to LCCs
Drive reduction in P-Card usage across PGS
Support Engineering and Software Solutions Group to drive effective and efficient utilization of labor subcontractors
Integrate all indirect financial metrics within PGS to align with overall P&W metrics
Work closely with Sourcing Finance, P&L Finance Leaders and P&W Sourcing to achieve Risk Mitigation and Deflation
Work closely with each site sourcing team to lower risk; drive deflation, contract compliance, and process standardization
Identify & assess supplier capabilities
Prepare and execute Request for Proposals (RFP) with sites, support eAuctions, and negotiate supplier contracts
Have frequent interaction and participation in GE P&W driven commodity initiatives to leverage total PGS spend with supplier contracts & services
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing
