Hours: 8a-4:30p; hours may flex depending on need
* Job Summary
Job Purpose: Plans, develops, designs, organizes, coordinates, and implements purchasing and inventory control functions of the department. Serves as a liaison with pharmacy buying group, preferred vendor, manufacturers and suppliers to insure all needed pharmaceuticals and supplies are delivered on a timely basis.
Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
Related Work Experience and Other Skills
Able to work in a fast paced, hectic environment handling stress inorder to meet deadlines.
Basic financial and accounting skills are desired
Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management is required
Typing and Computer Skills: Knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing preferred
Work Experience: 5 years or more
