PHP Developers will strategically design and implement applications that support core business functions, products, and services. This role develops, tests, and documents technologies that drive our business. Exceptional critical analysis skills, customer service skills, and the ability to understand big picture concepts while working independently are requirements of this position.
Description and Responsibilities:
Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
Actively monitor core release cycles and contribute patches when necessary.
Deliver reliable software that satisfies needs of business and clients.
Develop on proprietary software platform, utilizing existing components and creating new usable components that increase efficiency.
Create client integrations between their systems and our SMS platform in PHP.
Create custom SMS solutions in PHP.
Maintain SMS Core codebase in PHP.
Design data models and write efficient queries in MySQL.
Job Specifications and Competencies: Education: Bachelor's Degree
2-5+ years of experience
Proficient in at least one programming language (PHP, MySQL, Java, C++)
Additional experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
Solid understanding of the internet, web development, object oriented programming, and web services
Familiarity with web hosting environment architecture and database development
Organization and extreme attention to detail, in addition to being able to balance multiple priorities
