Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a senior PHP developer who wants to solve problems and create solutions that make a difference. Familiarity with object oriented development and design patterns like MVC and Dependency Injection are essential skills. Understanding of the concepts of a Service Oriented Architecture is desired. We value community involvement and encourage open sourcing code. The ideal candidate will have code available on github and/or contributed to an open source project. The frameworks we use are Slim and our own open sourced, custom framework called Basecoat. You should be able to discuss the pluses and minuses of macro vs. micro vs. custom frameworks, and played with a few of them. Experience with programming languages other than PHP is a big bonus. We are technology agnostic, you should know when PHP is not the right tool for the job.
