Utility Rebate Fund Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures for collection of rebates and execution of small energy efficiency projects. Coordinate with various utility providers, internal and external project managers, consultants, and engineers to fully leverage capital projects, renovations, and maintenance projects for rebate potential. Review all current and future projects for potential rebates. Enhance and improving an existing tracking system that will allow easier reporting that identifies all UF rebate potentials regardless of the funding entity or even the utility provider. Prioritize and implement potential energy projects to expense this fund.
EEDS Development: Participate in the development and implementation of the UF Enterprise Energy Data System( EEDS ). Work with the enterprise team to identify data points and assist in developing the metadata that goes with each point. Assist in creating meaningful reports that demonstrates potential energy savings. Assist in establishing continuous reports that track savings on various projects to ensure that the new sequence of operation is still working as intended and the savings are still there.
Energy Policy: Assist in development of Energy Policy and associated procedures for the Green Revolving Fund. Provide guidance on policy interpretations and establish cost effective delivery methods for energy efficiency projects. Periodic updates and revisions to the policy and procedures to ensure consistent results.
Student Activities/Pilot Testing: Coordinate with various UF faculty and researcher to provide living laboratory type exposure to the student academia. Create environments that will allow students to evaluate energy related building component for effectiveness in terms
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
