Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Information Technology Security Analyst located in Houston TX, through July 25th, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).

Position Details:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Leads and participates in security technologies strategy and PKI Management design with involvement of numerous IT professionals and business partners.
  • Develops and implements processes to maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of PKI infrastructure.
  • Responsible for translating PKI Management strategy roadmap to target architectures
  • Provide direction and input into the 1-5 year asset lifecycle management plans for the asset component in alignment with strategy defined with cooperation from Technology Management & Architecture-Security Technologies team.
  • Develops and shares best practices with the other support teams that constitute the operational support teams in Manila, Buenos Aires, San Ramon and Houston.
  • Develops and implements processes to maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of Identity & Access Management asset components located in over 85 countries where Chevron operates..
  • Troubleshooting: assist with all levels of technical troubleshooting of directories, objects and workflows.
  • Identifies continuous improvement areas, creates new Lean Sigma processes and process automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor security and access management infrastructure systems; correlate, review, rank, and follow up on high-priority events.
  • Knowledge of compliance/Information Risk Management space.
  • Occasional after hour and weekend support maybe required.
  • Required to be on-call.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years related Information Security and Risk Management experience in Chevron or another large company or related infrastructure work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure with any or all of the following: Active Directory technical troubleshooting support, Linux/UNIX, Federated systems, gateway technologies, Network Security, IPS, directory or other security and access technologies.
  • Computer Science, IT, IS, Or MIS degree or equivalent experiences.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ implementation experience with Public/Private key technologies and CA hierarchies
  • 5+ years’ experience implementing/supporting enterprise-wide PKI Infrastructure
  • 5+ years’ experience with Cryptographic Storage Providers / Key Storage Providers
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Authority (ADCS)
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft SQL server and Microsoft IIS server
  • Prior experience with the Certificate Management component of Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM-CM) highly desired
  • Experience in critical thinking of complex scenarios
  • Experience with Smartcards and HSMs is a plus
  • Knowledge of Outlook Encryption and Signing
  • Knowledge of PowerShell
  • Knowledge of Database design and stored procedures
  • Basic programming-level experience desired with the ability to understand ASP.Net and C# code. Programming knowledge of C++ is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems independently
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder engagements, gathers requirements, and translates to functional and design specifications for solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports, white papers and to deliver presentations at all levels in the organization
  • CISSP, or other professional InfoSec certification.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with increasing demands
  • Must be able to work in multiple projects. Having the ability to multi-task is critical along with ability to prioritize work
