This role is responsible for managing all GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy -related service work in the Philadelphia Apparatus Service Center and on-site Provide continuous oversight and direction to Quality Control Shop Supervisor, Service Shop Motor / Generator / Switchgear Cell Leaders, and Service Shop Motor / Switchgear Technicians to ensure that all jobs are being performed to the appropriate GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy procedures and specifications.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, you will:
Be familiar with motors, generators, switchgear, and associated components

Have knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, and EPRI standards

Have experience with contract language, commercial contracts, negotiations, and face-to-face customer meetings

Understand financial tools (i.e., sales, costs, margin, etc.)

Have strong interpersonal communication skills

Be proficient computer skills

Be responsible for managing all GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy -related service work in the Philadelphia Apparatus Service Center and on-site

Provide continuous oversight and direction to Quality Control Shop Supervisor, Service Shop Motor / Generator / Switchgear Cell Leaders, and Service Shop Motor / Switchgear Technicians to ensure that all jobs are being performed to the appropriate GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy procedures and specifications

Take ownership of opportunities in the Request for Proposal (RFQ) stage, and follow jobs through Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) processes

Ensure daily communication with customers regarding project status as well as potential concerns applicable to the work scope

Exercise due diligence and rigorous attention to detail, especially when generating proposals and during the review of RFQs, purchase orders, and final documentation packages

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project / program management experience in nuclear industry

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Quality Assurance Program, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy products, processes, customers, markets and competition

Familiarity with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy terms and conditions

Hands-on experience with GE Motors, GE Breakers, and GE Switchgear

Experience working with Union sub-contractors

Six Sigma Certified Greenbelt (GE Employees only)
