The Night Kitchen Cleaner will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas and equipment to ensure compliance with mandated regulatory agencies and established Hazelden policies and procedures. In addition the Night Cleaner will maintain the quality and safety of the equipment and will assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors.
A High School degree or equivalent is desired. Applicants should have knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding methods, disposal and storage of chemicals and cleaning products. Skill and ability to apply this knowledge to a variety of cleaning solutions required. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to report items in need of repair to supervisor. Knowledge of appropriate storage methods for supplies and ability to meet safety requirements for storage required. Applicants must have a working knowledge of safety precautions, procedures and equipment as well as the ability to recognize potential safety hazards. Ability to withstand physical effort required by the job including being able to lift 30-45 pounds on a regular basis is required.
