Required: Any combination of training, education, or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word and Excel software. This position will work rotating shifts and holidays and works in a confined area and frequently works alone. Employment in this position may be contingent upon the successful completion of: (1) polygraph exam, (2) psychological evaluation, and (3) extensive background investigation that includes disclosure of applicant's use of illegal drugs or controlled substances.

Preferred: Previous experience with radio or law enforcement is helpful, but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.

TYPICAL DUTIES:
Maintain daily log(s), to include police blotter web page and report log book

Operates fixed two way base communication equipment to include emergency call box system

Performs various clerical tasks

Enter reports, citations, parking permit and employee status information into the database system

Maintain multiple phone lines to include emergency phone line

Maintain fire alarm system for entire AWC Main Campus

Operates ACJIS/NCIC systems and assists in Evidence Room Control
