The registered nurse is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with noninvasive cardiovascular procedures. The registered nurse assumes responsibility for patients while in the department and provides care to these patients, as needed via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree nurse preferred.
At minimum of one year experience preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois required. Must possess current card from the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of employment.
