Seeking an experienced plastic injection molding Process Technician for medical parts manufacturing. This position will be training on day shift, however will move to nights once training is completed.
Must be able to work 12hr shifts 6am-6pm; 4 days on / 4 days off.
Individual must have a strong safety based approached to all job functions. Understand safety hazards associated with injection molding machines and related equipment. Expectations include ability to identify safety issues; initiate and act on improvement ideas.
Excellent ability to troubleshoot complex injection molding process issues with an organized approach to root cause problem solving to produce the highest standard of quality in our products. Ability to provide continuous improvement through process planning, including scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, quality improvement and up time. Capable of organizing daily routine when supervisors are not available.
Relocation is not available for this position.
High School graduate or GED. Previous experience in injection molding required.
Must be able to read/interpret design drawings.
Demonstrate professional and productive working relationships with all associates; acting as a leader in assigned cell and mentoring peers.
Individual is responsible for the utilization and execution of SOPs and to provide clear and concise documentation and data entry as required.
Basic skills required: mechanical aptitude, computer skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of robotics, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics a plus.
